Trip Information

There are two Chulu Peaks, one is Chulu West which is lower than Chulu East. This Peak is located in the north of Thorong La in Manang.
This peak is suitable for new climbers because it does not require any technical knowledge, but it may take longer time to summit because of the vertical slop and risk of avalanches in certain conditions. There are many conflicts about the right peak in Chulu range therefore it is very important to have right guide to lead you because there are four Chulus in the range.

Itinerary

Day 01 : Welcome to Nepal, arrival at Kathmandu
Day 02 : A day for preparation and Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley
Day 03 : Departure to Bensisahar
Day 04 : Trek to Bahundanda
Day 05 : Trek to Chamje
Day 06 : Trek to Dharapani
Day 07 : Trek to Chame
Day 08 : Trek to Pisang
Day 09 : Trek to Manang
Day 10 : Rest day for acclimatization at Manang
Day 11 : Trek to Chulu base camp
Day 12 : Rest at Chulu base camp
Day 13 : Hike to High camp
Day 14 : Summit Chulu East (6,358m) or West (6,420m) and return back to base camp.
Day 15 : Trek to Thorong high camp
Day 16 : Trek to Muktinath after crossing Thorong La pass (5,416m)
Day 17 : Trek to Jomsom
Day 18 : Fly back to Pokhara from Jomsom
Day 19 : Drive or fly back to Kathmandu
Day 20 : Rest at Kathmandu
Day 21 : Final Departure
