Trip Information

Over 7,000m peaks, Lhakpa Ri is the most achievable peak in the world, it is situated just opposite of the North side of Mount Everest in Tibet. The Base Camp is set on the north side of Mt. Everest and the approach is through the Tibetan plateau to Rongbuk Monastery and Kharta glaciers.

Lhakpa Ri was first climbed by Bill Tilman in 1936 during Everest Reconnaissance.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Day 02-03: Preparation for official documents and expedition
Day 04: Drive to Kodari and to Nyalam
Day 05: Drive to Tingri
Day 06: Rest for acclimatization
Day 07: Tingri to Everest Base Camp
Day 08: Rest day for acclimatization
Day 09-12: Rest and Hike for acclimatization
Day 13-19: Climbing Period starts
Day 20: Back to Everest Advance Base Camp
Day 21: Back to Everest Base Camp
Day 22: Drive to Tingri
Day 23: Drive to Kathmandu.
Day 24: Extra day in Kathmandu
Day 25: Final Departure
