Trip Information

Ganesh Himal is recently open 7,000m expedition in Nepal. It is one of the beautiful mountains situated in the mid-western part of Kathmandu, Nepal. Ganesh Himal can be seen from Kathmandu if the weather is clear.
In the Ganesh Himal range there are 3 peaks above 7,000m, they are Ganesh Himal I(7,429m) the highest peak, Ganesh Himal II (7,111m) and Ganesh Himal III (7,110m). This mountain was first climbed by France-Swiss Expedition team via the South-east ridge in 1955.
After 1955 summit, many expeditions went there but no one summited this mountain until 1981, Ganesh Himal II is known for exceptional steep.
